Cleaners to join the Department of National Defence at CAF Borden

Do you have interest in providing Janitorial and/or Housekeeping services and are looking for a better Work/Life Balance? The Canadian Armed Forces Base (CFB) in Borden, ON is hiring several Cleaners  (BUS-02) to join the Department of National Defence civilian team!

We are currently seeking hardworking team members who are action oriented, demonstrate integrity and respect and can work effectively with others.

As a cleaner, you will work in a group setting or independently, cleaning a wide range of buildings within CFB Borden (sleeping quarters, kitchens, office buildings and hotel type buildings). We take pride in offering clean facilities for students and staff living and working in base.

You will be part of an enthusiastic team of civilians and military personnel within the Personal Support Services branch, offering cleaning services to Canadian Armed Forces and Department of Nation Defence members who serve our country.

Casual positions are available on a 90 Day Contract for those who wish to work part-time hours or weekends. Hourly rate of $21.82/hr with a weekend premium of $2.25 per hour for all hours worked on Saturday or Sunday  This contract excludes the public services pension plan, paid vacation, paid sick leave and full benefits.

Although not a necessity, if you have experience in cleaning services such as hotels, resorts or in an institutional environment such as hospitals, schools office buildings, etc and looking for a work/life balance, then we want to hear from you!
