Personal Support Worker

A private employer in Wasaga Beach is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and personable Personal Support Worker (PSW) or experienced Disability Support Worker to provide care for a self-directing quadriplegic woman.

This is a rewarding opportunity to support an individual who has a great sense of humor, enjoys spending time outdoors, and values a positive, respectful working relationship. The ideal candidate is someone who is caring, enjoys having fun while maintaining professionalism, and is comfortable providing personalized support under the direction of the individual receiving care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities.
• Follow the individual's direction regarding her care and support needs.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Accompany and assist with walks and other outdoor activities when weather permits.
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and supportive environment.

Qualifications:

• Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is required.
• PSW certification is an asset but is not required for candidates with relevant experience.
• Compassionate, reliable, and respectful.
• Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Ability to build a trusting and professional working relationship.

Schedule:

• Flexible scheduling available.
• Preferred shift is 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m.
• 24–36 hours per week.
