GS-BUS-02 – Cleaners

CFB Borden/R&QSS Cleaning Services is looking to hire Casual as and when Required (90-day contract) and Weekend & Statutory Holiday Cleaners.

SUMMARY OF DUTIES

CLEANER

• Performs cleaning activities such as sweeping, vacuuming, washing, scrubbing, dusting and disinfecting of different rooms including washrooms and bed making
• Collects and removes waste, garbage and recyclable materials.
• Cleans microwaves, coffee pots, refrigerators and ovens in accommodation buildings.
• Replenishes linen, cleaning supplies; replaces washroom paper products, shower curtains.
• Maintains janitorial equipment.
• Counts and bundles linen.

Education: Must be able to provide High School Diploma/Transcript or
Post-Secondary Diploma/Transcript in order to complete a security clearance.

Official Language Proficiency: English Essential

Asset: Cleaning Experience
WHMIS

Conditions of Employment:
• Reliability Security Clearance
• Must wear approved non-slip footwear and personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Must be able to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 20KG in accordance with safety regulations.
• Must be willing to work shiftwork, days, evenings and weekends.
• Must be willing to work in in adverse weather conditions.
