Position Overview
The Sous Chef will support daily kitchen operations in a fast-paced food service setting while helping ensure high-quality meals, food safety compliance, and excellent service for residents.
Experience & Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced food service environment
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling
- Demonstrated leadership experience managing kitchen or retirement staff
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and hospitality best practices
- Hands-on experience in food service operations and customer satisfaction
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience required
- Experience within the retirement industry is considered an asset
