Dishwasher

Swiss Chalet in Wasaga Beach is looking to hire a Dishwasher to join their kitchen team. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment
• Keep the dishwashing area clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, floors, and other areas as required
• Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and food preparation tasks as needed
• Properly handle and dispose of garbage and recycling
• Follow food safety and workplace health and safety procedures
• Work cooperatively with kitchen and restaurant staff
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment throughout the shift

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is an asset, but not required
• Reliable, dependable, and punctual
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Able to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks
• Able to work as part of a team
• Strong attention to cleanliness and sanitation
• Must be available to work a minimum of 20 hours per week
