AZ/DZ Drivers

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Driver to join our team. They must have knowledge of container hauling, flatbeds and tri axle. 3 years MINIMUM experience, with a valid Letter Of Experience from appropriate insurance company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods and materials safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of vehicle operation, maintenance, and safety regulations. The Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Duties

• Operate vehicles to transport freight to designated locations in a safe and timely manner.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate logs of hours driven, mileage, and fuel consumption as required by law.
• Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Assist with basic automotive repair and maintenance tasks as needed to keep vehicles in optimal condition.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company policies while on the road.

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial driving with a valid driver's license appropriate for the vehicle class.

• Experience operating heavy equipment or forklifts is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of freight handling procedures and safety protocols.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
