Information Technology Team Lead – Bilingual

The Department of National Defence in Borden, ON (CFB Borden) is hiring a bilingual IT Team Leader  (IT-03) on a permanent basis! 

The Canadian Forces Recruiting Group (CFRG) organization within DND is an interesting and challenging diversified work environment that supports 26 recruiting detachments across Canada directly supporting the Canadian Armed Forces reconstitution.  The IT Team Leader reports directly to the CFRG R6 within the Support Branch.

The bilingual IT Team Leader would lead the team that develops and changes to the forces.ca, which is being developed in a collaborative and agile approach.  This position also manages, coordinates, provides guidance and oversight of all the 3rd party software being used by the recruiting group.

We are looking for an IT Team Leader who is fully bilingual in both official languages with experience in supervising people; developing software, databases, distributed systems, and other software products; and creating, presenting, and providing IT and 3rd Party services and guidance to the organization.

This position is 5 days a week on site at the National Defence location in Borden (CFB Borden).

Salary range: $ 99,108 to $ 123,137 including the public service pension plan, an extensive benefits plan, paid vacation and sick leave.
