Potato Harvest Truck Driver (Seasonal)

Duration: Approximately 6 weeks (September through early October)
Hours: Early mornings through to evenings, weather-dependent

We are a family-run potato farming operation looking for reliable and experienced seasonal truck drivers to join our harvest crew. This is an ideal opportunity for a semi-retired or retired individual who enjoys driving and working outdoors during Ontario’s beautiful fall harvest season.

Key Responsibilities:

• Hauling potatoes from the field to on-farm storage

• Operating tandem or tri-axle trucks with manual transmissions

• Working in a fast-paced harvest environment with long hours and variable weather

• Performing basic pre-trip inspections and ensuring safe, responsible operation of the vehicle

Qualifications:

• Clean driver’s abstract required

• DZ license preferred

• Must be comfortable driving manual transmission

• Previous farm or truck driving experience an asset

• Reliable, punctual, and able to work extended hours including weekends
