FOCUS Community Development Corporation is a community-based, non-profit organization established in 1985. For over the past 35 years, FOCUS has served our community by enhancing employment and training opportunities.

We assist local job seekers and employers through our unique set of services and programming. Our support varies depending upon the client’s needs and desired outcome.

Our team of highly skilled Employment Consultants work one-on-one with Job Seekers to assist them in finding the right career, and our Employer Services Professional works one-on-one with Employers to assist them with their business.

FOCUS is funded by the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training, and Skills Development to deliver employment supports to the South Simcoe area, including Alliston, Angus, Beeton, and Tottenham. With our recent expansion into virtual services, we also assist those outside of our immediate area.

We are not a temporary employment agency! Despite common misconceptions, FOCUS does not operate as a temporary agency. Our primary objective is to connect job seekers with long-term, permanent employment opportunities while aiding local employers in identifying the ideal candidates for their needs. The funding for our Employment Ontario Services is provided in part by the Government of Canada and the Government of Ontario.
