A well-established local company in the Springwater area, ON is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to support daily office operations, with a focus on basic accounting tasks. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to grow their skills in a supportive environment. While accounting experience is not required, it is considered a strong asset.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide general administrative support (filing, data entry, email correspondence, etc.)
- Assist with basic accounting tasks such as invoicing, data entry, and record keeping
- Work with Sage accounting software
- Maintain organized and accurate financial and administrative records
- Communicate with team members and clients as needed
- Perform other office duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous administrative experience required
- Familiarity with accounting principles and software is a strong asset
- Experience with Sage programs is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Ability to learn new systems and processes quickly
- Strong communication and time management skills
