Description
The Department of National Defence (DND) is seeking two permanent Vehicle Instructors and Dispatchers to join the Canadian Forces Logistics Training Centre in Borden, Ontario. In this role, you will provide driver training and support military and civilian transportation operations while helping develop skilled operators for the Canadian Armed Forces.

Qualifications
Required Licence
Applicants must possess one of the following:
- A valid unrestricted Class A (Class 1) driver's licence with air brake endorsement, or
- A valid unrestricted DZ (Class 3) driver's licence with air brake endorsement.
Required Experience
- Experience providing driver training to new and experienced operators.
- Experience instructing vehicle operation and characteristics.
- Experience identifying and correcting driving faults.
- Experience providing constructive feedback to support driver development.
Asset Qualifications
Preference may be given to candidates with:
- Secondary school diploma.
- Heavy equipment operator diploma.
- Professional truck driving diploma.
- Completion of a driving instructor training program.
- Experience operating commercial cargo vehicles or buses.
- Experience with forklifts or other material handling equipment.
- Experience performing vehicle inspections and daily maintenance.
- Experience maintaining driver logs and related documentation.
- Experience training personnel.
- Experience using Microsoft Office or SAP-based systems.
- Experience working in a mixed military and civilian environment.
Conditions of Employment
Successful candidates must:
- Obtain and maintain Reliability Status security clearance.
- Be eligible to obtain a DND 404 operator licence.
- Provide an acceptable driver's abstract.
- Be willing and able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 30 kg.
- Be willing to travel within Ontario, Quebec, and across Canada.
- Be able to work overtime, evenings, and nights when required.
- Wear personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
- Undergo medical examinations as necessary.
