Cashier/Customer Service

Johnny Pizza Alliston is actively seeking Cashiers and Kitchen Assistants to join the team!

Cashiers will serve customers at the front-counter and process orders over the phone, as well as assisting with kitchen duties. Some table service is required in order to manage the small dining area.

Kitchen opportunities include Pizza Maker, Cook and Kitchen help.

Availability to work both weekend and evening shifts will allow for more hours. Restaurant experience is an asset. Maturity and strong customer service skills are a must. Apply now and launch your culinary career in the right direction!

Responsibilities and Duties

• Operate cash register to process customer orders
• Taking orders over the phone and in person
• Serving pizza slices and other menu items
• Maintaining a clean and organized environment
• Cutting and boxing pizzas for pick up and dispatching deliveries
• Prepare food ingredients, pizza toppings and other menu items
• Stretch and top pizza
• Cooking pizza and additional menu items
• Assisting with clean up and prep in kitchen
• Helping team members as required
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

Customer service and/or cashier experience is an asset.
Computer proficiency.
Enjoys preparing and working with food
Communicates effectively - verbal and written.
Quick learner.
Thrives in a fast paced environment.
Must be flexible with hours, days, nights and weekends.
Enjoys the restaurant environment and interfacing with customers.
Positive attitude and a team-player.
