Description
Salary: $65,000 per year
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (flexibility required based on operational needs and site visits)
- Conduct a comprehensive review of existing health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
- Update and enhance health and safety documentation to ensure compliance with Ontario Ministry of Labour regulations and applicable legislation.
- Identify gaps in current safety practices and recommend corrective actions.
- Perform workplace inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on health and safety matters.
- Assist with incident investigations and recommend preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate health and safety records and documentation.
- Support the development and delivery of health and safety training programs.
- Travel to company locations in Midland and Orillia as required.
- Previous experience in a Health & Safety role.
- Strong understanding of Ontario health and safety legislation and Ministry of Labour requirements.
- Experience working directly with Ministry of Labour standards, inspections, or compliance initiatives.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between company locations (orillia, midland, utopia)
