Family Engagement Assistant

30-hour work week

$19 per hour, plus 4% vacation pay each pay period

Work schedule:

Tues, Wed, & Thurs, 9:30-5; Fri 9-3:30; Sat 10-4

Lunch 12-1

Outreach Event on Canada Day, Wednesday July 1st

Applicants must be 15-30 years of age to meet grant requirements.

Partial funding paid by the Government of Canada.

Job Activities:

Deliver summer activities for children aged 4-12

• Create an inclusive environment for all children to participate
• Foster literacy development in children
• Make meaningful connections with families
• Assist with other library tasks as time permits
• Travel between library branches and local parks with personal vehicle
