Northern Hoist Equipment is a growing provider of construction hoists, vertical access solutions, and site equipment servicing Toronto and the GTA. We are looking for a reliable, hardworking team member who wants to build a long-term career in the construction equipment industry.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude who enjoys hands-on work and wants to learn all aspects of our business. The successful candidate will begin by supporting shop operations and equipment maintenance while developing the skills to assist with fabrication, installations, service work, deliveries, and field operations.
What You'll Do
- Assist with equipment maintenance, inspections, and repairs
- Support metal fabrication and welding projects
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
- Load, unload, organize, and maintain equipment in the yard and shop
- Help prepare equipment for customer projects and deliveries
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Assist technicians with field service, installations, and construction site work
- Learn and grow into additional responsibilities across all areas of the business
What We're Looking For
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Dependable, punctual, and eager to learn
- Comfortable performing physically demanding work
- Experience using hand and power tools
- Mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Construction, fabrication, welding, equipment maintenance, or general labour experience is an asset
- Valid Ontario G Driver's Licence preferred
- Access to a reliable vehicle is strongly preferred, as our yard is located in Bolton and work is regularly performed throughout Toronto and the GTA
