We are currently seeking a Construction Labourer to join our civil construction crews. This position is well suited to someone who enjoys hands-on outdoor work, takes pride in being part of a productive crew, and is ready to contribute to road and underground infrastructure projects in a physically active field environment.

This role involves practical construction work supporting daily operations on municipal and civil construction projects. The successful candidate must be dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working outdoors in changing weather and site conditions.

Key Responsibilities

· Assist with the installation of watermain, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems

· Support excavation, grading, backfilling, and general site servicing activities

· Perform general labour duties as directed by the foreperson or crew lead

· Safely use hand tools, power tools, and small equipment

· Help load, unload, move, and organize materials on site

· Assist operators and other crew members with daily construction tasks

· Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

· Follow company safety procedures and project requirements at all times

· Work outdoors in varying weather and site conditions

Qualifications Required

· Ability to get to and from job sites reliably

· Ability to perform physically demanding work

· Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions

· Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

· Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious

· Ability to work well as part of a team

Assets

· Previous construction or general labour experience

· Experience in road construction, underground servicing, or civil construction

· Familiarity with construction materials, site work, trenching, grading, or material handling

· Experience using hand tools, power tools, and small equipment

· Health and safety training or relevant construction certifications
