Description

The Wasaga Beach Chamber of Commerce is looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Summer Student to assist with administrative and office support functions.
This role is ideal for a student interested in developing professional office skills while gaining experience in a fast-paced, community-focused organization.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide general administrative support to the Chamber office
  • Assist with data entry, record keeping, and database updates
  • Support event coordination and member communications
  • Prepare documents, reports, and correspondence
  • Respond to inquiries and assist members as needed
  • Support sales efforts for the annual Chamber Guidebook, including outreach and coordination
  • Provide support to Chamber initiatives as required
Qualifications:
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office/Google
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • High level of organization and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage time effectively and prioritize tasks
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
  • Positive attitude and willingness to assist where needed
  • Must have own transportation and access to a personal computer
  • Comfortable working remotely part of the week
Canada Summer Jobs Requirements:
  • Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
  • Must be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person with refugee protection under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
  • Must have a valid Social Insurance Number (SIN) and be legally entitled to work in Canada
