Maintenance & Grounds Crew

Elmvale Jungle Zoo is currently hiring a Maintenance & Grounds Crew Member to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in hands-on work in a unique, nature-focused environment.

Position Type: Full-time
Start Date: Immediate
Location: Elmvale, ON

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform general maintenance and repairs across the property
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of grounds, pathways, and exhibits
• Operate tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Assist with basic landscaping duties (cutting grass, trimming, etc.)
• Support team members with various labour tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Previous experience in maintenance, landscaping, or general labour
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy materials
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Strong work ethic and ability to work independently or as part of a team
